Prayer to St. Joseph to Obtain our own Worship Space
Holy St. Joseph, Husband to Mary, Step father to Jesus,
You were the head of the Holy Family, You built your family a home, You built many families homes,You helped Jesus to grow to maturity, You taught him to work with his hands, to work beside you in building homes.
Holy Joseph, Our Catholic Community desires a home of our own. We pray to you for guidance in choosing the right time and place for our new home. We ask your help in all the areas you were concerned about with the home of the Holy Family, Help us to afford this new home with a sound structure to house us. We pray for help realizing our new home, such as real estate, legal, financial or carpentry. We ask you to guide us; to intercede to Jesus for us. help us to realize the dream of a new home for our Catholic Community, so we may give glory to our Lord Jesus. Amen!
The 5th Sunday of Ordinary Time brings us the story of Jesus healing Simon Peter's mother in law. Jesus then goes off to pray, and then, with his disciples begins preaching for "this is why I have come". How do we respond to the preaching of Jesus we find in the Scripture.
